Katie

Katie spent months at South Los Angeles shelter- where she gave birth to puppies...her puppies were quickly adopted out but poor Katie was over-looked. Many times I find that these momma dogs are the most amazing pets of all. So many people are eager to adopt the puppies and neglect to see the beauty of the momma. Katie is a great example- she is a great dog!

Hi Nikki,
I just wanted to send you a holiday greeting and let you know how much
we looove Katie (mixed cattle dog that we adopted from you in November).
Everyone in our family is deep in love with her, and her with us! Thank
you again for helping us find each other! I have included a picture of
my kids and her which was our Christmas card. Katie tolerated the silly
little santa hat that the kids wanted to put on her for the picture.
She loves to run around our backyard and watch the birds and squirrels!
When we are home we leave all the doors open to the backyard so she can
run in and out as much as she wants. We all love coming home and seeing
her get so excited to see us (even if we are only away ten minutes she
stills gets excited). Even though she gets to run around a big yard we
try to take her on a walk everyday. We feed her the best food, in fact
I think I check her labels better than I check my own. So as you can
see she is very pampered and loved! I thought since you probably hear
so many horrible stories everyday you would love to hear a good one!
