Banjo was
found on the side of the road abandoned in a box along with
two other Poodles. At first glance we thought Banjo was
dead. He looked like a lifeless stuffed animal. On
closer inspection we realized he was still alive- We rushed
him to our vet- it was touch and go even as we raced to the
vet's office as Banjo lost consciesnous several times. Banjo
was severely anemic he was so covered in fleas- he had been
attacked by a large dog- and he has an enlarged heart-
alot to take
for such a sweet little gentleman. It
looked as though Banjo had lived at an auto body shop as the box he and
his friends were found in was a muffler box and Banjo was wrapped in an
oil rag. We told him, "please pull through Banjo-
we want you to know what it is like to be loved and
pampered"- Banjo heard us and he did pull through! He loves
car rides and walks- is the sweetest little guy-
he has a heart condition and takes daily medication-
BUT HE IS SOO WORTH IT!! Won't you consider
adopting such a special special needs dog- once you meet him
you'll see why he's worth more than what life has given him so far!
BIRDIE
Labrador Retriever/Cattle
dog mix - 7 years
CHLOE
Shar Pei Mix - 4 Years
The most docile
dog you could meet. Thinking about adding a second dog to your
family? Chloe is your girl..SHE LOVES OTHER DOGS. Once you meet her you won't be able to stop kissing her super soft face!
Farrah was dumped
at the shelter 2 days before New Year's- the reason they gave
for dropping her at the high kill shelter? "She cowers around
company" I guess these people were going to have a New Year's
Celebration and they could not be bothered with a dog that was fearful
of people. The worst
part is that after we rescued her it was discovered that she had been
hit by a car and these people never bothered to take her to the vet
afterwards. It makes me sick to think of her suffering with
her injuries - with no one there that gave a damn about her. Farrah has
seen an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Olds and she needs two surgeries to
correct the damage that has been done- both surgeries cost
over $4,000
